A lamp is looking at a tree

I “dismembered” each section of a tree branch and laid it flat on a table, constructing a dissection table in a dark room. In the room, a lamp of my height shines on this “brutal” table, metaphorically representing the anthropocentric perspective I am in.

The reason why humans can avoid discussing the harm they do to nature is because the consequences of these injuries often occur indirectly. In this work, I directly display the process of harming nature.
